Youth-service budgets have been cut 73% since 2011, just as need has never been higher: too few safe places, too little support, too many young people left on their own.

Much-loved community buildings, brought back to life and reimagined as youth centres — with a team that runs them, so they never quietly close again.

Youth workers, fundraisers and operators who have already opened spaces and changed outcomes — now doing it borough by borough, across London.
Add 25% to every gift you make — at no extra cost — if you're a UK taxpayer. Your £100 becomes £125 for young people.
Give straight from your salary, before tax, so it costs you less to give more. A £10 gift can cost you as little as £8.
Many employers match what you give, pound for pound. And a gift in your will is free of inheritance tax.
The above is general guidance, not tax or financial advice. Please speak to your own adviser about what applies to you.

£42Figures are illustrative of our delivery model. Stepping Stones is a registered charity; every gift is spent on our charitable purposes.

Twice a year we bring our whole community together to celebrate what your support built — and meet the young people behind the numbers.

Personal updates and real stories from the young people you back, so you always know the difference you're making.

Mentor, run a workshop or volunteer at a centre. Here, your time goes every bit as far as your money.
Led by people who grew up needing exactly this.

Amara grew up between youth clubs in south London — and watched them close, one by one. After a decade running frontline programmes, she founded Stepping Stones to rebuild the spaces her community lost.

A youth worker turned social entrepreneur, Daniel has opened and run community spaces for 15 years, reaching thousands of young Londoners. He leads what happens inside every centre.
Your gift does two things at once: it helps us bring an empty building back to life as a youth centre, and it funds the mentoring, training and clubs that happen inside. Because we run the programmes ourselves rather than passing money to someone else, more of your donation stays on the frontline — and the doors stay open.
Anyone, anywhere. You can give once or set up a monthly gift from as little as £5. UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid at no cost, and many employers will match what you give.
We publish an impact report every quarter, and supporters receive personal updates and stories from the young people they back throughout the year.
Always. There's no minimum term and no penalty. You can pause, change or cancel a regular gift any time by emailing our supporter team.
85p in every £1 goes directly to frontline youth work. The rest covers the essentials — safeguarding, governance and the fundraising that brings in more support.
We track outcomes, not just activity: school attendance and grades, moves into work or training, and young people's own wellbeing — reported independently to our trustees.
Grants come and go, and when they stop, services close. By owning and running our own centres, we control quality and cost — and we can promise young people the doors won't shut on them again.
We work with councils and local partners to find boroughs with the highest need and the fewest places left for young people — then take on a building they can no longer run.
Become part of a movement giving every young Londoner a place to belong and a path to rise. It starts with you.
